Welcome to the Second Grade Math Tutorials for Math Expressions
This website was created so parents and students could receive additional information on concepts taught in math class. This website includes tutorials on how to add and subtract number with regrouping. Students today are taught different methods on how to get the correct answer. These methods are very different from the way they have been taught traditionally. If your child is having trouble with a method, use the tutorials for additional assistance. Within the website you will find interactive blogs for students to create their own story problems and solve. There are printable worksheets for students to practice. Under each operation tab you will find tutorials on how to use each method. There is an assessment page for you to complete. This will provide feedback for future tutorials.

Math Fluency for Basic Math Skills
For students to become math experts they need to practice their basic math facts. Practicing these facts will make students proficient in adding and subtracting math problems. I drill these basic math facts daily in class. I listed three website that will allow students to practice basic math skills using interactive math games. Students need to practice both addition and subtraction math facts from 0-20. By using these games, students will become more fluent with recalling their basic math facts.
